Subj: Special Meatballs

1 pound ground beef
3/4 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 cup water
2 teaspoons salt
pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons oil
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 medium onion, chopped
8 ounce can tomato sauce
Beat egg, add water and seasoning. Add meat and bread crumbs. Shape in
small balls (makes about 18-20). Brown in oil. Remove meat balls.
Saute celery, green pepper, and onion -- do not brown. Add tomato sauce.
Add meatballs and cook 1/2 hour.
